    A recognized leader with over 20 years of experience in the active, action-sports, tactical and military apparel manufacturing industry. With a consultative, and solutions oriented approach she has been a manufacturing support system of many of the industry’s top Made in USA/ Berry Compliant tactical apparel brands from 2008-present as well as global commercial brands. She was launched into military apparel with her company’s astounding success and physics defying fastest (90 days to max capacity) ramp up of the new USMC Running Suit back in 2008 and since then has successfully produced over 1.5 million units of various styles ranging from base layers to outerwear. Her company was awarded over 72 million dollars in prime contracts, was given an ARP by DCMA, certified as 8a and 8m, ISO900:2008, exceeded delivery expectations and received many accolades from clients and colleagues from industry giants such as New Balance, Quiksilver USA and US Marine Corps. She has intuitive insight gained from a lifetime of experience in the active and sports apparel industry and has attributed her many successes by her ability to work cohesively with teams such as Sales, Project Management, Planning, Procurement, Contract Managers, Administrators, Quality Assurance, Buying Agents, Factory owners and supply chain vendors. 

She assists companies with new product development, production planning and management, reducing waste, increasing efficiencies, compliance adherence, innovative technology integration, production automation, strategic planning, team management and leadership training. Beyond her career in apparel innovation and manufacturing leadership, Rhonda is an avid guitar player who spent over a decade as the lead guitarist and songwriter in a touring poprock band from 1998 to 2012—(https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4lXNNLiwTvqiPxRKCXrjBy?si=fLCneRaRQOeN93aoe8kHYw) balancing recording sessions and live performances with the growth of her apparel production management company, which she founded and successfully expanded through winning major government contracts.

Raised on the beaches of Newport Beach, she grew up watching Quiksilver surf contests at 56th Street and has been part of Southern California’s surf culture her entire life. With deep family roots in the industry and a natural love for the ocean, she embodies the creative, independent energy of a true California beach original.

At the same time, her childhood was equally shaped by the military. Her father served in the United States Air Force, and many of her childhood summers were spent on Air Force bases. Her uncle is a Senior Master Sergeant at Edwards Air Force Base, and several relatives currently serve on active duty across different branches. The structure, discipline, and sense of duty embedded in military life were part of her upbringing long before she entered federal contracting. If she carries one regret, it is that she did not pursue the Air Force Academy or enlist herself. Although her path to serve did not unfold through uniformed service, her commitment to supporting the military through excellence in manufacturing and compliance has always been deeply personal. Delivering products built to perform — and delivered on time — is her way of serving those who serve.

A lifelong athlete and martial arts practitioner, she studied Kenpo before transitioning into internal arts such as Xing Yi, Tai Chi, and Qigong. She’s an enthusiastic cyclist and runner who brings that same drive and discipline to every project she takes on. As a Certified Yoga Instructor (RYT200) and Integrative Nutritional Health Mentor (IIN), Rhonda integrates mindfulness, balance, and well-being into her daily life and leadership style, supporting those around her with authenticity and insight.

She’s also an author, creative storyteller, and lifelong learner whose kind and collaborative spirit makes her both inspiring and enjoyable to work with.
